Rise ensures all children have access
to high-quality learning opportunities
Chien was born into a poor family in a remote mountainous
area in Vietnam. When he first joined Rise’s program, he was
a shy and quiet child who lacked confidence. His limited
understanding of the national language made it challenging
for him to follow his teachers’ instructions and connect with
his peers.
Through Rise’s program, he participated in age-appropriate
play activities that enhanced his preschool skills. His national
language skills improved and he interacted confidently with
his friends and teachers. Thanks to you—after nine months of
participation in the program, his academic skills have more
than doubled across all measures.
